Equipment

  • 2 bread pans

Ingredients
  

  • 3.5 c flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 3 c sugar
  • 1 c vegetable oil
  • 2/3 c water
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c canned pumpkin

Instructions
 

  • Mix together: flour, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin pie spice.
  • Beat in sugar, oil, water, eggs and pumpkin.
  • Pour into greased and floured bread pans or muffin tins.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes, or until center is dry when inserting toothpick.
  • Cool and frost if desired. (See cream cheese frosting recipe.)
