2cBeef roast, cooked and choppedI make mine in crock pot in advance
3diced carrots
3diced potatoes
1/2Rutabaga, diced
1/2Head of cabbage, shredded
1Large onion, diced
5cBeef bullion
1can15 oz Stewed Tomatoes
32ozTomato Juice
2cWater
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Bring boullion, tomato juice, stewed tomatoes, and water to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer.
Add all other ingredients and simmer until tender.
It may be thicker than you like, so add a little more of your choice of liquids used. Makes a large quantity and tastes better if it sits a day before serving.
