  • 1/2 c Butter or Margarine
  • 1 c Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 c Milk
  • 2 1/2 c Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla


  • Melt butter and blend in brown sugar and salt.
  • Cook over low heat 2 minutes stirring constantly.
  • Add milk and continue stirring until mixture comes to boil, remove from heat.
  • Gradually blend in powdered sugar.
  • Add vanilla and mix well.
  • Thin with small amount of milk or cream.
  • Serve over your favorite cake.
