Caramel Sauce
Delicious on ice cream and cheese cake
Ingredients
- 1/2 c Butter or Margarine
- 1 c Brown Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 c Milk
- 2 1/2 c Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
Instructions
- Melt butter and blend in brown sugar and salt.
- Cook over low heat 2 minutes stirring constantly.
- Add milk and continue stirring until mixture comes to boil, remove from heat.
- Gradually blend in powdered sugar.
- Add vanilla and mix well.
- Thin with small amount of milk or cream.
- Serve over your favorite cake.
